The Christian faith is about accepting God into the very core of our lives!
When we are baptized, the life force that raised Jesus Christ from the dead enters our life and begins a process of transformation within us.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist in perfect unity. As Christ enters into our life he wants to create a new unity with us. Jesus prayed that his followers might be one as he and the Father are one. Jesus was “one” with the Father in what he was—like the Father, fully divine—but also in what he did. That's the oneness that we are to imitate. All the chaotic, divided parts of us are to be harmonized and work together in unity. Our body, our mind, and our spirit are meant to work as one—not be divided against each other. Likewise we should work in harmony with other people, united in a common purpose of truth and love.
It is important to get a small glimpse of what the Holy Trinity means, because then we come to realize the simple truth that as we accept Christ into our lives we are opening the very heart of our being to God himself. The three way God of Love is working in and through us to bring us to our final destiny. That destiny is nothing less than a life lived within the everlasting power and glory of God's own life of love.
